Doctor Pulls Live Tick From Inside Patient’s Ear Where It Had Been Living For Days

Here’s a story that will show you why you should make sure your ears are properly cleaned regularly.

A doctor working in Malaysia has recently shown a video of an uncommon medical procedure and its outcome. This doctor found a tick living in his patient’s ear.

The video shows Dr. Rahmat (a 49-year-old surgeon from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia who is an ENT specialist) removing a tick that had been living deep inside a patient’s ear canal.

Although it sounds disgusting, it really did occur.

To put it mildly, the doctor was extremely disturbed to find a bug in his patient’s ear instead of an object.

Even more disturbing was the fact that the creature was alive and in good health.

After the tick was removed, the doctor reported that his patient was in great discomfort upon arrival.

The patient claimed that he was experiencing some ear pain, and he was suspicious of an infection.

The doctor said he saw many people smiling as he removed the bug, and he expressed his wish to never have to have to do this procedure again while he’s in practice.

Who could guess how this tick found its way into this man’s ear? Many people feel poor hygiene was a contributing factor.

For those of you who don’t already know, aside from giving you the ability to hear, your ears help you maintain balance.

Good balance helps to prevent falling.

This is why it is very important that you keep your ears clean and keep objects and parasites that can make your ears their home until they perish and rot away out of your ears.

Make sure you clean your ears often and keep them clear of foreign objects.

Only use cotton buds to clean your ears if you want them to function properly. Keep sharp objects like pins and needles out of your ears as objects like these can cause damage.

Besides bleeding, these objects can cause many problems that interfere with healthy ear function.

Whenever you use cotton buds, ensure that they are of the finest quality since inferior ear buds may break up inside your ears and decompose. This can lead to ear problems.

Remember the old saying that states prevention outshines cure. Maintain good ear hygiene so you never have to experience having a live and kicking tick pulled out of your ear.
