No one ever wants to be called out by the boss. Derrick Taylor was called to go outside by his boss. James Ward, the Operations Clerk at the UPS Customer Center in Oxford, Alabama had also gathered several other employees that day. Ward presented Taylor with a car! Why? Because Taylor didn’t have one and he had to walk to work every day.
He walked seven miles one way to get to work so he could provide for his family. A fellow co-worker, Allie Steen captured the moment on video and shared it. Steen said they always take care of their own at UPS. Taylor’s co-workers all chipped in to get him the Jeep Cherokee. Check out the video below. Just try not to get emotional when Taylor takes the keys.
