Because of this, Danny quickly had the audience of the X Factor UK falling in love with him in mere seconds.
Not only does Danny have an amazing personality, his voice is out of this world!
Danny knew from the start that in order to connect with the audience he needed to make them laugh and enjoy themselves.
That is why as soon as his audition started, Danny began by telling everyone around him a joke.
The 37-year-old knew that he should also share his philosophy with the audience, which is to always have a smile on your face every day.
His warm and caring nature had already won over most of the audience.
Now, it was time to get to the reason he was there- to delight the judges. It didn’t take long to do so!
The judges, along with the captivated audience, fell completely silent when Danny opened his mouth to sing.
He had decided to sing a number from the movie Dreamgirls entitled “And I Am Telling You I’m Not Going.”
Danny hit every note with a smile on his face. You could tell that he was living his dream of being on the stage with a captive audience.
The entire audience rose to give Danny a standing ovation as the final notes of the song ended. Simon Cowell, the judge known for his harshness, even stood in solidarity.
The other three judges rushed the stage to show their appreciation of the song. They all gave Danny a huge group hug as he wiped away the tears.
