The high kick dance style is a favorite among many school and college dance teams, and the performances never fail to wow and impress.
Not only are dancers incredibly flexible and in excellent shape in order to carry out these feats of skill, they also have to be in sync with each other and work as a perfect team so they’re synchronized well!
The Carroll High School Emerald Belles from Southlake, Texas performed a routine of this variety for their regional high school dance competition.
With the unusual song choice of Sweet Dreams, their performance was a fascinating and unique stand out from the get-go, but it isn’t just the eerie, mystifying music that had the audience screaming by the end of it.
The choreography began simply, with groups of these dancers doing their own solo moves in an organized chaos on the floor.
Then, the synchronised routine began.
From the perfectly pointed toes and straight backs, to the complete uniformity of every single kick, to the creatively choreographed patterns and tricks, the girls pulled move after move out of their skill bag and showed off a stunning performance that can’t soon be forgotten!
It’s useless to attempt to describe the absolute brilliance of this dance routine and the talent and skill needed to pull it off so seamlessly, so watch it here to experience the jaw-dropping performance!
