You may think you’ve seen it all, but you ain’t seen nothing until you’ve seen a dancing cow! Thanks to an advertisement campaign by Cadbury which was shown several years ago, this vision has been brought to reality in a surprisingly realistic way.
3D animated dairy cow Frieda is a tap-dancing expert, and she’s here to show off her skills. With perfectly executed dancing, she clicks her hooves smartly against the floor, perfectly in sync to the beat of the jazzy, old-timey, swing music in the background.
And just when you think she’s just about done, she kicks down the doors and reveals a line-up of incredibly cow backup dancers!
Set to Fred Astaire’s ‘Puttin’ On The Ritz’ and even filmed with a similar backdrop to the one he used while showing off his tap dancing to the song, this video quickly reached viral fame, even back when it was released. Frieda danced her way into the hearts of fans and chocolate lovers everywhere – and it’s not hard to see why!
Even better, this animation isn’t as far from reality as some may believe, as studies have shown that cows can listen to and appreciate music as well as form musical preferences – usually for slower songs, too, so it’s not amiss to imagine a diary cow dancing along to this song after all. Check out Frieda’s sweet moves!
