15-Year-Old Girl Holds Hands Of Blind And Deaf Stranger Struggling On Flight And Starts Singing

Hundreds of passengers were minding their own business on a flight from Massachusetts when a flight attendant spoke on the intercom.

She asked if any of the passengers knew how to perform sign language.

Clara Daly, a teenage girl, was the only person to press the call button. Clara was diagnosed with dyslexia during her early years in school.

She has a hard time deciphering written text. In order to overcome this challenge, Clara decided to learn sign language.

This makes it much easier for her to communicate without the need to write and read.

When the flight attendant arrived at Clara’s seat, she told her about the situation.

There was a deaf and blind passenger who was trying to communicate something with the airline staff, but they couldn’t understand the man.

Although Clara had only started learning sign language the year prior, she was happy to try and help the situation.

Clara sat next to the man named Tim. She began communicating with Tim through sign language by placing her hands within his hand.

This was the only way that the blind and deaf man could understand. Her mother caught the entire conversation with her camera. It was a proud moment for this mother.

Clara learned that Tom was simply wondering how much time there was until the end of the flight.

After communicating with the flight attendant, Clara was able to relay the information back to Tim.
