Monsters With A Chainsaw Broke Into This Zoo To Kill Rhino For His Horn

Police have launched an investigation. At this time it is unclear how the poachers got onto the property. The zoo has security measures in place, and they have staff that lives on the premises.

It is hard to imagine why people go to such lengths for rhino horns. They do not have any special power. Rhino horns are made of keratin, and the use of the horns in traditional Chinese medicine dates back centuries.

According to the Fish and Wildlife Service, rhino horns are ground into a powder and used to treat high blood pressure, typhoid, hallucinations, and for headaches. There is little scientific evidence that suggests rhino horn can cure any of these ailments.

As the demand for rhino horns climbs, the number of rhinos left in the wild is falling.

Share away, people.
