You know the familiar line, a kid comes home with a dog sitting next to him and asks, “Can I keep it, Mom?” As if by fate or something, the child found a new friend and wants to keep it forever and ever.
We have that very thing happening in this story – except that no one asked if they could keep the new pet, and it wasn’t a child that adopted a new friend, it was a cat. Posey had a litter of kittens when she was quite young.
She found herself (and her kittens) a forever home with Claudia Wright. After Posey’s kittens grew up and moved out, Claudia said Posey seemed lonely. So, one day, Posey (who is now around 4 years old) went out and brought back a new kitten to love and care for!

The new arrival was named Meesy. Messy was about 7-weeks-old when Posey brought her home. Claudia remembers that Posey seemed quite proud to bring Meesy into the house!

Claudia checked around, and none of the neighbors had ever seen Meesy before. Everyone then assumed that Meesy had gotten separated from her mom and Posey found her.

Meesy needed to be bottle fed. Posey didn’t have to do too much to convince Claudia to let Meesy stay!

Who could resist the little ball of kitten cuteness? Claudia says that Meesy and Posey are quite happy together.
