After covering everyone with blankets, they all went to HAAL for assessment. The six kittens were all healthy and had no signs of a cold or any infections. Then they turned their attention to the adult cat.
Surprise, surprise, the adult cat was not the momma. If fact, it was a he! The male cat had taken it upon himself to watch over a litter of kittens!
The staff at HAAL think that he may have been the dad or even just a big brother watching over his kin. They said that the male cat would play with the kittens and even groomed them all.
