Noah is nine years old and lives in Florida, and he already knows that he wants to be a police officer when he grows up. One day, Noah and his mom, Amanda Cantin saw a police officer sitting alone at a Denny’s restaurant eating breakfast. Noah asked his mom if he could go over and say “hi” to the officer, but, when he approached the table, Noah froze, and no words came out.
Instead, Noah used the money he had been saving to pay for Officer Eddie Benitez’s meal! They told the waitress their plan, and she brought them the officers ticket – Noah wrote a simple, heartfelt message on the receipt and then handed it to Officer Benitez. As you can imagine, the officer was shocked and impressed – he even took the time to pose for a picture with his new friend!
