Whales are lovable, wise, and majestic creatures who are often exploited for their merits.
Fortunately, they still put their wits to good use.
A few weeks back, a beluga whale was spotted in Hammerfest, Norway.
The whale was donning a suspicious harness that appeared to belong to the Russian Navy.
The men who found the whale suspected that the Russians had trained it to send illicit messages.
There were even whispers that Russia was attempting to convert the whale into a spy.
When Russia was confronted, they denied the allegations and any existence of such whale.
The gentlemen removed his harness, allowing the whale to roam freely in the ocean.
When the story hit the media, residents were eager to see if the whale was still lingering nearby.
Ina Mansika and her friends set out to the oceanfront to catch a glimpse of the whale whose origins remain unknown.
Not only did they find him, but they had a sensational interaction with him as well.
While peering over the dock, Ina’s phone fell out of her pocket and into the water.
She immediately assumed that it would fall to the bottom of the ocean, never to be seen again.
In a stunning turn of events, the whale retrieved the phone and returned it to Ina.
Here’s the video:
Unfortunately, it was rendered useless after being submerged in water for so long, but the whale certainly didn’t know that.
After all, it’s the thought that counts.
Ina and her friends couldn’t believe the whale’s kindness.
When the whale saw how happy the group of women were, he echoed their glee.
The moment was genuinely heartwarming and one that they’ll never forget.
