In a national park in Australia, a blind baby tree kangaroo, Lily, had been attacked by dogs which belonged to a few park visitors. Lily had suffered a dislocated and broken ankle after the attack.

Unfortunately, the bite wound had also gotten infected and swollen. The doctors at Tree Roo Rescue stated that Lily was blind due to cataracts in her eye.

Due to the injury, Lily had to undergo treatment for a few months and she had also been traumatized as she was still young. Lily even had to be coaxed to eat!
