Autistic Man Cries When Flight Gets Delayed Then Airline Worker Shows ‘Utmost Compassion’

Lehmann posted his story and a picture of David on the Love What Matters Facebook page. More than 74,000 people reacted, and the story was shared over 11,000 times.

David calmly talked to Lehmann and told him that it was still possible for him to get to Cincinnati and make it to his speech on time.

Then David offered to buy Lehmann some pizza for lunch! David even arranged for Lehmann to have a row all to himself on the plane (too much stimuli and the tight space on the plane would have made Lehmann more stressed).

Lehmann ended his post by saying that it wasn’t about autism – his post was about doing the right thing. It was about helping your fellow man and being a good person.

Share away, people.
