In my opinion, anyone who intentionally abuses an animal is the lowest form of life on the planet. It happens way too often in this world. If you see abuse – report it. Animals need a voice to help them get out of that kind of situation. Special Needs Animal Rescue, and Rehabilitation (S.N.A.R.R) is a U.S.-based animal rescue group.
S.N.A.R.R got a call about a pit bull in urgent need. The dog’s owner was vicious and cruel – and in Egypt. The tragic part of this story is that the woman abusing the dog, named Lucy, was the landlord of an animal shelter! Can you imagine?

To make matters worse, the woman refused to give Lucy up. Lucy’s jaw was broken in two places, and she was malnourished. Her body was covered in infected wounds.

Even if S.N.A.R.R could rescue her, they were not sure she would survive. To get Lucy out, S.N.A.R.R waited until the woman went out of town.
