Last January, Ashley was rescued from a life of neglect. Her owners didn’t feed her and then they just abandoned her. Erica Mahnken, the co-founder of No More Pain Rescue, saved her.
Erica and her fiancé Michael Favor got a phone call about some people living in an abandoned house with a dog.

The couple had moved away, but the dog was still in the house. It was a freezing cold day when Erica and Michael went to find Ashley.
