Growing up in the 60s, 70s, or 80s was very different from how kids grow up today. I remember being told to come home when the street lights came on. We rode our bikes up and down the street without helmets – and we were barefoot! We would stay outside all day and go over to our friends’ houses unannounced for lunch!
We didn’t have cell phones or handheld video games. It seems like kids today are really missing out on a lot of fun! Oh, remember catching lightning bugs and putting them in a jar?! I hope the children of today get outside and enjoy living life on the edge! There is only so much fun one can have with a video game!
