She reminded us that we should spay and neuter our pets. You should also have your pet microchipped and never allow them to run free. Lewis stressed the importance of having your pets vaccinated too.

It is important to remember that you shouldn’t buy your next pet from a pet store – adopt one instead. Buying animals just supports puppy mills (or cat mills), which are horrible places.
There are plenty of pets that live in shelters that need homes. Get involved. Donate. Foster.
