The two formed a tight bond, and J J decided to take care of Dexter on his own. Dexter would snuggle for hours in his family’s arms. He gave them head bumps and purred all the time!

Dexter was quite happy to have been given a home to live in (who wants to spend retirement in an animal shelter?).
Here in this picture, we can see that Dexter was quite at home with his canine siblings! Someone had to keep those canines in line!

In typical cat fashion, Dexter was soon ‘large and in charge’ in his new home.
