Meet Chihuahua Boogie Shoes, who was abandoned by its former owner in the middle of Palm Springs.
It was found in the middle of a local supermarket’s car park, lying in the smothering heat.
It was rescued by Palm Spring Animal Shelter, who engaged a foster mother named Alicia to take care of Boogie Shoes, who was named as so because he is always ‘dancing’.
Boogie Shoes was born with physical disabilities, caused by Cerebellar Hypoplasia, triggering a permanent and non-curable birth defect in the poor pup.
This causes the pup’s movements to be off-sync with its brain.
There, Boogie Shoes can never be a normal dog like the others.
