Imagine a Rottweiler dog and a bunny rabbit. You definitely wouldn’t think that these two species would get along very well, for several reasons. Pups have a natural instinct to hunt small and fast-moving creatures, and in older times, they were used to hunt rabbits to begin with. On top of that, Rottweilers get quite a bad reputation for being fierce and vicious – even though that isn’t true at all!
And of course, bunnies usually spook easily, so it’s hard to catch them enjoying a big, scary predator’s company. So when this video begins with a rabbit standing in the middle of a grassy area and having a snack and a big dog comes charging in, anyone who watches does so with bated breath.

It gets more than a little scary when the pup then leaps at her and pounces right on top of her! Luckily, it seems like this is all just fun and games and these two are best friends. The dog pounces on the rabbit in the gentlest way possible to encourage her to play a game of tag with him.
