This boy became a hero after he protected a girl from a man in Target. CBS Boston reported that Cameron, who was only seventeen years old, shopped at Target with his mother, Heather Cook. They saw a man looking at a girl in a way that was unsettling to them.
Heather Cook stated that she could smell alcohol from the man. Making a sudden move to the girl prompted Cameron to intervene, asking if he knew her. Becoming defensive, the man rebutted that he was not a pervert and left the store immediately. Heather Cook expressed her pride in her son for standing up to a physically bigger man to help a young and smaller girl.
