Every time I see an Amber Alert, my heart is saddened.
Most of us get Amber Alerts on our cell phone – through the Wireless Emergency Alerts (WEA) program.
Stephen was on his way to a doctor’s appointment in Knoxville, Tennessee, when he heard the Amber Alert.
Two-year-old Brooklynne Emerie Enix had been kidnapped by her father, Tyler Enix, who was also suspected of killing Brooklynne’s mother.
Call it fate or an act of God, but Stephen couldn’t believe his eyes when he saw that the car that the police were looking for was right in front of him!
Little Brooklynne even waved out the back window to him! Stephen got a hold of the authorities and followed the car until the Sheriff’s deputies responded.
They were able to arrest Tyler and rescue Brooklynne!

According to amberalert.gov, 857 children have been successfully rescued through the Amber Alert system!
