Man Takes Dog To Chinese Groomer, But Language Barrier Results In Hilarious Haircut

The customer is always right – but, it hard to get what you want if there is a language barrier – right? Leigh Simmons, 27, is Welsh and living in Shenzhen, China – so, language is a challenge, to say the least. Simmons and his wife found a puppy living as a stray earlier in the year and gave it a home. Recently Simmons took his new German shepherd pup to a groomer for a summer haircut.

Simmons teaches English in Shenzhen and has been living there for just over six months – but speaking Mandarin isn’t a strong suit. He didn’t use words to tell the groomer to but his dog’s hair, instead he made a ‘bzzz’ sound and mimed shaving – so, that is what the groomer did!

You could argue that Simmons got what he asked for – but just look at the poor dog! Let us hope the dog’s fur grows out quick!
