In the emergency room, the vets had to remove one eye as it was damaged beyond salvation. The pup’s eye had to be stitched shut. In addition, Mika’s body was full of ticks and shown signs of trauma inflicted on her head. It is not known if this was purely accidental. Thankfully, Mika quickly recovered and remains in the Humane Educational Society’s care.
Unfortunately, the heartless boy was left unpunished even after committing such a terrible deed – he even went to school as per usual!
