This is Roxy. She is an 11-year-old dog that was taken to the Orange County Animal Shelter in Orlando, Florida and traded in for a kitten! Her family dumped her and took a kitten home! Can you imagine how that must have felt for Roxy to lose her warm bed and home? One can only hope Roxy doesn’t know her family replaced her.
I wish shelters wouldn’t allow people that a surrender animals to turn around and adopt another one – they are clearly irresponsible. A shelter volunteer said Roxy is scared. She can sit and is obedient. If you can help Roxy, please visit. You can follow Roxy’s story on Facebook.
