There is nothing worse than a heartless owner surrendering a sick or elderly dog to a shelter.
The Harris County Animal Shelter in Houston got a 14-year old dog on Thursday. His so-called owner came in demanding that they put the dog down.
The dog’s name was Symon, and he was a Shiba Inu. Yes, was, because that poor dog is now dead.
In his most desperate time of need, his family just left him at the shelter with orders to have him killed.
They didn’t even want to stick around to say goodbye.
The owners claimed that their veterinarian said nothing could be done for him.
Although advocates at the shelter were requesting that their own doctor assesses Symon, his owner just didn’t want him to be alive anymore.
