Ollie, a stray mutt, walked onto and an army post in Iraq and was quickly considered part of the group!
Former Army Specialist Ken Wyrsch took special interest in the small dog and raised him as if he was his own.
Ollie was always waiting for Ken and the other soldiers when they got back from their missions.
Then one day, it was time for Ken to leave – but he wasn’t about to leave his little buddy behind!
Ken enlisted the help of the SPCA International to see if they could raise the needed money to get Ollie sent his home in California. It worked!
