You should look closely at this picture. Can you tell what color that cat is? No, this isn’t a trick. That deep purple color is definitely not a natural color for a cat! The sad little kitten ended up at the San Jose animal shelter.
Not only was he colored purple, but he had evidence of other kinds of abuse. The shelter staff began to work on him right away. The kitten was only two-months-old, and many feared that he had been through to much and wouldn’t be able to pull through.
They knew his best chance of survival would be to get him to the Nine Lives Foundation and to Dr. Monica Rudiger. The Nine Lives Foundation specializes in rescuing abused and injured kittens.
