People can be so cruel and heartless. In Changzhou, China, two small dogs were playing in an alley.
Then two men on a motorcycle appeared, and the man riding in on the back of the bike pulled out a gun and shot the black dog.
The other dog tried to chase after the men as they drove off.

The black dog ran home and was able to saw a final farewell to his family before dying.
The Humane Society International reports that this sort of thing is common in China.
Dogs are shot with poisonous darts and left for dead.

Later, their bodies are collected and used in the dog meat trade. It is estimated that ten million dogs are killed or stolen each year.
