‘Proud Dad Moment’: Sons Stop Car To Shovel Snow For Man In Wheelchair

You know you have raised your children right when they do something great without being told.

Just ask Daniel Medina.

He and his kids were making their way down a slippery road on December 11 when his two sons, ages 10 and 6, both asked him to pull over.

When Daniel looked around, he saw what they were looking at and couldn’t help but feel proud.

There was a man in a wheelchair trying to shovel the path in front of his house.

The two boys wanted to get out and help.

Daniel took photos of his boys helping and posted them on the Love What Matters Facebook page.

Many people around the country were touched by the post.

Some left comments complimenting the mom and dad for raising such good kids.

Other people shared stories of how they too had been helped by some young men.

One woman shared a story about her friends (82 and 92) who would walk one block to get breakfast at a nearby restaurant.

One of their neighbors would shovel the sidewalk all the way for them!

Another commenter said that she and her husband were out shoveling their driveway when two young men in a pickup truck stopped and finished the shoveling for them.

They even left their phone number in case they needed help again!

Said it once, I’ll say it again – it doesn’t cost you anything to be nice to another human being.

Just think, one day you may need help from someone, wouldn’t it be nice to get the help?

Share away, people!
