Handguns are not safe in the hands of people who don’t know how to use them.
A 2-year-old boy shot and accidentally murdered his mother, Veronica Rutledge, 29, at a Wal-Mart in Hayden, Idaho when he reached into her purse and fired the weapon.
The boy was sitting in the shopping cart next to his mother’s purse when the incident occurred.
I am sorry, but why did the mother leave her purse next to the boy? Was there no safety on the gun?! So many questions.
The mother had brought several children to the store with her to do some post-holiday shopping at the time of the incident.

The store was evacuated, but no one else was injured.
If you carry a weapon, please be careful. You have to have it on or near you all the time, this story is the proof of that.
