You know what a suitcase is for – right? It is for clothing. You put clothes and maybe some toiletries in a suitcase when you go on a trip. Sadly, that is not what was found in this suitcase. A woman and her dog found this suitcase sitting on some abandoned train tracks in a remote area of England.

The woman wasn’t going to do anything about it – but her dog was sniffing at it. Then the woman heard the meowing sounds. She was floored to see a mother cat and eight kittens inside the suitcase. All of the felines were severely dehydrated and malnourished.

The woman took the cats to her home and called the RSPCA for help. The mother cat, named Tarini, was put in intensive care at the vet. Her kittens were taken to an RSPCA center.
