One evening while Nicole Rienzie was driving along the woodland roads along with her mother, she saw a black tiny speck dash right in front of her car. Not wanting to harm it, she slammed the brakes on time and got out of her car to inspect it. It was a thin and malnourished kitten with swollen and badly infected eyes.
Nicole and her mother took little kitten home, bathed and fed it well. The little kitten now has a new home.
And a new name – Monk, short for Monkey and originally Sergio – due to his habit of swinging onto furniture or any structure he could hang from.

Monk proved to be very special – he had extremely long fangs, similar to Dracula’s.
