Dormice are classified as an animal species belonging to the rodent family – like others, they hibernate during the winter, relying on their fat storage to sustain their energy and keep themselves nice and warm throughout.
One dormouse during the winter was closely examined by its caring owners to make sure that he’s all good for winter hibernation – until it started to snore, really loudly! Now, you wouldn’t expect rodents to snore, do you? So cute!
