One day, I hope we won’t have to read stories like this anymore.
This type of story breaks my heart and really makes me quite angry at my fellow man.
That tiny black and white dog you see in that cage is a puppy.
She was found on Sunday morning in Tunica County, Mississippi.
The tire tracks left by her heartless owner were still fresh.
The dog, now named Melanie, was starving to death.
So, her owners starved her nearly to death and then just dropped her in a field to die.
Melanie was taken to the Tunica Humane Society.
The staff says that Melanie is a sweet dog. Kind and innocent.
The good thing about this is that Melanie is dry and safe.
She will not have to suffer any longer.
Melanie is at a foster home where the dogs rule the roost!
Love is freely given, and so is bacon!
