Someone in Isai, Romania covered these four puppies in tar and then left them on the road – to die.
The Sky Foundation for Animal Rights was able to rescue the puppies, and they all recovered from this ordeal.
Sadly, this is not the first set of puppies found like this. It is feared that there is a monster doing this on purpose.

To make matters worse, a police officer on the scene was heard saying he thought it was a waste of time to try and find the person responsible.
Groups like The Sky Foundation are working to help stray and injured animals in Romania.

Sadly, Romania is not the only country where the rights of animals are not important.
Too often people are given what amounts to a slap on the wrist as punishment.
