Do you like sleeping out under the stars? Many people do, I am not one of those people. I prefer my warm, comfy bed inside the house! Most farm animals do not have any issues sleeping outdoors. They have a barn to keep them safe. One rooster named Poodle Roo, however refuses to sleep in the coop with the other chickens and roosters.
Poodle Roo lives at Apricot Lane Farms in California. His owners were at a loss as to why he ‘flew the coop’ each night. John Chester made a movie about Poodle Roo that aired on Oprah’s “Super Soul Sunday”. Poodle Roo has been given an honorary title as a result. He is now known as the “Rising Strong Rooster.” You will have to watch the video to see why he earned this title.
