Five puppies were rescued in North Carolina in Wayne County. The dog’s owners were trying to do the cruelest thing ever – by burying them alive. They had already brutally shot the senior dogs and had a grave all dug out for the puppies. They had even started to lay the puppies into the grave – they were to be buried alive with their dead parents.
A neighbor, a Good Samaritan, quickly alerted authorities after hearing some disturbance behind a an abandoned building. Police found the gun used to kill the older dogs in the house. The couple, Marquise Christopher Johnson and Emily Ann Gray have been arrested. After the necropsy results come back, they could face other charges as well.

One bright spot is that the few weeks old puppies were placed with another mother who is now thankfully nursing them. They will be ready for their forever loving homes in mid-February. Share away, people.
