Ever since she gave an incredible and inspiring speech at the 75th Golden Globes when accepting the Cecil B. DeMille Award, countless social media users have been trying to convince media mogul Oprah Winfrey to run for office in 2020, when Donald Trump’s term reaches its end.

Although she has been flattered by the suggestions, Oprah has said that she prayed to God and said that if He believes she should run for office, He has to give her a very clear and obvious sign that she won’t miss. And then this incredibly letter showed up, and now fans are insistent that this is the sign she was looking for!
The letter came from an 83-year-old woman from Maine who had officially changed her name to Jesus Christ five decades ago. But the woman didn’t know that people had been pushing for Oprah to run for president on social media – she only wanted to write to her a heartfelt note as a fan, to talk to her about peace and faith.
When asked if she would be supportive of Oprah running for office, Christ answered affirmatively, saying she would definitely vote for her if she ran. Although she wrote the letter as a fan, it seems that perhaps this could be the sign Oprah was looking for – but we’ll see if she believes so, too!
