After Navy Vet Saves Grandma From Brutal Attack, Ellen Refuses To Accept He Can’t Make Ends Meet

The security cameras were rolling in the Winn-Dixie parking lot. It was a bright sunny day in Florida in 2014 when a 76-year-old woman was heading to the car with her groceries. A young man tried to steal her purse. Kendrick Taylor, a Navy veteran, wasn’t going to let that happen.

Kendrick jumped on the man and held him until the police arrived. Kendrick got a medal of honor from the Orlando Orange County Sheriff’s Office for his good deed. Ellen DeGeneres heard the story and asked him to come on her show. Watch the video below and see what a real hero looks like.

Notice he is not a professional athlete or movie star. He is a great man who did something because it was the right thing to do. That is a hero. Ellen treated him like a hero too! Share away, people.
