Samoyeds are beautiful dogs with white coats, but, someone in Moscow decided to dye two of these majestic creatures bright pink. The two dogs grew, and their owners decided they could no longer care for them, and so they were abandoned in the forest!
Luckily, the dogs were found and taken to a shelter in Moscow. According to the shelter, both animals had eczema and inflammation which was partially caused by the pink dye. One dog had been shot in the ear, and the other dog had shrapnel embedded in his body.
When the dogs were puppies, they were used as props by their owners, and the police have launched an investigation into these cruel people. Tourists are being warned to not patron their business – the couple reportedly already have a new set of dyed puppies.
Did they think they could sentence two animals to a slow death and get away with it?
