A passerby noticed that a malnourished dog chained to a tree. He must have been there for a long time and seemed to be dying.
So he took pictures of the dog and posted them on social media, urging people to share the story and get help.
It soon caught the attention of the local authorities, so the dog was taken in by Jackson Animal Control.
Even though his owner had tears in his eyes when they came, no one was fooled by his crocodile tears.
This poor dog is now receiving medical attention.
His tail is infected and he also suffers from parasitic infection in his intestines.
