Frantic Mother Runs Out Of the House And Places Her Baby In The Arms Of A Stranger

The mailman was delivering mail at Stephanie Cooper’s home in Greer, South Carolina in August 2014 when something completely out of the ordinary happened.

Stephanie’s 11-month-old son, Eli, had just swallowed a plastic wrapper and it got stuck in his throat.

Stephanie had tried to get the wrapper out, but she didn’t have any luck.

When she heard the mail truck in the driveway, she ran out screaming for help.

The mailman, Chris Brown, is a 24-year veteran of the postal service.

But this is not something he has ever encountered while out delivering the mail!

Wait until you hear the little twist that could have prevented Chris from literally being “in the right place at the right time” for Eli.

Luckily, Chris knew the Heimlich maneuver and he was able to calmly perform the procedure to help Eli (and Stephanie).
