Do you see the dog in this picture? The pit bull had gotten itself stuck on this pile of sticks in the Salinas River in California. A group of people was out looking for a missing person when they found the poor pup.
The dog seemed friendly (and happy to be found). It is believed that the dog had been stuck on the pile of sticks for days.

Animal rescuer, Jessica Barraza saved him after getting the call that he needed help. Barraza and others tried to coax the dog to come to them, but he didn’t move.
