Humans should never abuse animals, for any reason. Corrective action must never include violent acts of beating and slapping – animals are without a voice, but they have their rights to be treated with care. One man broke the rules and trust of his dog by doing so.
Meet John Sporer, a single man named living in Eastpointe, United States. He was charged for acts of animal abuse inflicted on a dog named Meatball. His neighbor recalled that he had been doing so since he first saw the dog. Meatball was timid and extremely hand-shy. Disgusted, the neighbor reported Meatball’s case to both the police and the animal control department; but nothing was done due to a lack of proof.
Thankfully, the neighbor was crafty enough to secretly tape John abusing Meatball, and submit it as evidence. This put John Sporer behind bars for good, and enabled Meatball to re-start his new life with another owner.
