In the Memphis Zoo located in Tennessee, a female giraffe was video graphed giving birth to her first very own baby!
The successful birth was recorded where Sarabi the giraffe experienced motherhood in front of a live zoo audience for the very first time.
Sarabi was 13-years-old back then – her baby was healthy and even started to nurse immediately after being born at 7 a.m!
Sarabi’s zookeeper, Richard Meek expressed his great delight on Sarabi’s behalf, too!
