More bad press for pit bulls. On January 17, a 6-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl were headed to their bus stop in an Atlanta neighborhood. Tragically, a pit bull and a border collie attacked the children, the boy, Logan Braatz, was killed, and the girl, Syari Sanders, was injured.

The Associate Press reported that the police shot and killed one of the dogs. The dog’s owner, Cameron Tucker, was arrested.
