Ever wondered if the stray dog you saw in the shelter last week would be safe in that place, unadopted? Unfortunately, a Facebook picture that went viral proved it not to be so.
Most animals left at shelters end up being euthanized in the end, due to a variety of factors such as the lack of space, contamination and etc. Michele Boggs, an animal control officer said on her Facebook post that the black bags contained dead animals, including a young puppy.
She witnesses at least 15 euthanasia procedures in a month, at least once every week.
Adopt instead – do not buy.
