In Riverside, California, Officer C. Morris got a call about a dog trapped in a hot car.
It was a hot and sunny day, and the dog could be heard crying from inside the car!
The windows on the Impala were only down about one inch – not enough for any significant ventilation!
When Officer Morris looked inside, her heart sank, the dog inside was only about 8-to 10-weeks old!
Thankfully, the police were able to get the pit bull puppy out of the car in time!
Officer Morris said that she has rescued unconscious dogs from hot cars only to find out that the dog was brain dead.
