I remember watching “The Million Dollar Man” and “The Bionic Woman” when I was a kid. The implants those two people got made them have superhuman strength and speed! Today, those implants are – sort of – a reality!

But, the implants do not give the person superhuman speed or strength, however, they get the use of a missing limb back! Naki’o was found barely alive by his owner, Christina after he had gotten stuck and frozen in a puddle of icy water during a cold winter.

Christina rushed him to the animal hospital, but the doctors were unable to save parts of each of Naki’o’s limbs.

As you can imagine, Naki’o had some difficulty moving around on his own and was forced to live most of his life indoors. Christina couldn’t bear to have Naki’o inside for his entire life and decided to see if she could help him somehow. Christina reached out to Orthopets, which is run by Martin Kaufmann.
